Pastor Rickie D. Sarratt

A native of Gaffney, SC, Rickie D. Sarratt was licensed to preach on November 18, 2007 at the Timothy Baptist Church in Athens, GA. He was later ordained there and by the Concord Baptist Church, Gaffney, SC. He has served as Pastor at the Fountain of Life Baptist Church (Spartanburg, SC) from August, 2011 until October, 2016. Shortly thereafter Pastor Sarratt, along with his wife planted Innov8tion Church (in 2020, the name changed to Innov8tion Point). In June 2023, he accepted the call to lead the Word of Change Ministries (Spartanburg, SC), where he currently serves as Pastor of both Innov8tion Point and Word of Change.

Pastor Sarratt is a passionate preacher of the gospel, who charismatically exposes scripture with genuine interpretation and honest revelation. He is gifted in applying the Word of God to any audience he is privileged to stand before.

Pastor Sarratt was raised with good morals and positive high expectations. Along with being active in school and community efforts, his involvement in the church as a choir member, Assistant Sunday-school superintendent, Jr. Usher-board President, boy scout, and convention delegate helped mold his foundation as an active Christian.

After obtaining his high-school diploma from Gaffney Sr. High School in 1992, Pastor Sarratt obtained a Bachelor's or Arts degree in Psychology from the prestigious Morehouse College in 1996. He earned a Master's of Arts in Christian Thought from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in Charlotte, NC in May of 2015.

Ecclesiastically, Pastor Sarratt served Timothy Baptist as an Ordained Deacon (2004), a licensed minister (2007), and an ordained Elder (2010). At Concord Baptist, he served as an ordained minister (2011).

Professionally, he has worked for several Fortune 500 companies including IBM, EDS, Siemens and UPS. Currently, he is the owner of Casting Crowns Media, LLC, a digital graphics design company. He is also a certified John Maxwell speaker, training and coach in leadership development.

In addition to being a devout man of God and an entrepreneur, Pastor Sarratt is a committed and dedicated family man. He is the husband to the lovely Timena Sarratt (May 18, 2002). Together, Rickie and Timena are rearing two vibrant and jubilant daughters, Ambria (born 2007) and Asha (born 2009). He is the older of two children (sister, Min. Adrienne S. Young) born to Deacon Willie Dean and Elder Mae Frances Sarratt.
